Mikael started the day, finally leaving Bear Mt. State Park for the last time. He then rode into New Jersey, taking the George Washington Bridge into Manhattan, New York. He was able to ride down to the waterfront and past the Twin Towers site. The crew then took a ferry to Staten Island. He crossed Staten Island, ending up at the Outer Bridge Crossing. Since Mikael couldn't ride his bicycle over the bridge, he jumped into the trailer to make it over the bridge.
