Cornhusker Stadium to Omaha, Nebraska

Leaving was difficult on Thursday morning, due to the fog. It was also difficult as Mikael's bike was having some trouble - so the crew traveled along Highway 6 to Omaha, Nebraska where they stopped for the day. Mikael was able to do some interviews for a local news channel and he was able to get his bike repaired by the good guys at The Bike Way (and so much more!).

A great thought from Cornhusker Stadium
as Mikael and Dave (not pictured) set out for Omaha.
We aren't joking about the fog!
left to right: James, Mikael, and Trevin. Trevin, owner of The Bike Way dropped everything to work on Mikael's bike, and did such a fantastic job. Thank you, guys!

But fixing the bike was not all! James gave Mikael a pair of his trademarked Spokiz sunglasses that James has patented. Here he helps Mikael complete his cross-country cyclist look. You, too, can get some - just click here! Thanks, James - they are awesome!

Mikael is filmed for KETV Omaha 7 news - and Pete Soby is riding in the back of his news rig to get action footage of Mikael on the road.
